Crew (no login)
The people who do the work but don't sign in: modelers, detailers, checkers. Put them on projects with Edit crew on the project. Click a name to see everything they're working on.
Backups
A copy of the whole system is saved automatically every night and kept for 30 days. Download one anytime for your own records.
Off-site copy
Every morning your Mac fetches a fresh copy of the whole system and saves it into OneDrive (Cadlions - Management / 03 Finance / Health Dashboard Backups), so a problem with the server can never take the only copies with it.
Server
The server restarts itself after an update, so this is rarely needed. Use it if something looks stuck. Takes about a minute; everyone stays signed in.
Automatic updates
The server installs new versions of the dashboard from GitHub by itself, checking every 5 minutes. It needs a read-only GitHub key for the cadlions-health repo, pasted here once.
Two-step sign-in
With two-step sign-in, a new computer needs the password plus a 6-digit code from an authenticator app on the person's phone. Choose who must use it; anyone else can still turn it on for themselves.
Currency
Costs on a project can be recorded in USD or INR. INR costs are converted to USD at this rate for dashboard totals and margins.
